If you aren't familiar with plant-based makeup, or botanical cosmetics - allow us to introduce you to this ancient, playful concept that can be used in various ways other than makeup.
It is edible
It can be used as paint
Smeared as eye shadow
Used as a blush & bronzer
Applied as a foundations
Line the eyes as an eye liner
Use as a light dye for cloth
Utilize as a body paint
Whip up a mask for the face & body
The main lesson: Plants are versatile. they are here to represent themselves as their own entity with powerful abilities, (Sound familiar?) Undoubtedly willing to share what they own, presenting themselves upon us - the ritualists.
When I found out how easy it is to create a plant-based bronzer, I knew that I had to write up a blog post to inform you guys that you can do this right now, in your own home.
What are the main ingredients?
Just 3.
Cacao (Cocoa) powder & Cinnamon Powder, and a loose powder such as Arrowroot. What is fascinating is that you can literally craft this in 0.09 seconds.
THE STEPS
1 or 1 1/2 Tablespoons: Arrowroot Powder (or Cornstarch)
2 Tablespoons: Cacao Powder (or cocoa powder)
1/2 or 1 Tablespoon: Cinnamon Powder (Goldening & Deepening)
1/2 Tablespoon: Nutmeg, Turmeric, Ginger Powders, essential oils (All optional)

Now that you have blended all the ingredients to match your desired deep hues of your loose bronzer, you can pour all contents into a small jar, cap it, use it, and label it for future use or to gift a sweet friend.
I highly suggest labeling all creations you make, and dates are also very important. Use your favorite clean bronzer applicator brush, & dip brush into your jar, tap excess, and swirl to apply.
Feel free to make the concoction lighter in cacao or cinnamon to experiment with other colors!
And of course, thank you for reading!
